Comedian Josh Pray Warns Machine Gun Kelly: “Do Not Disrespect Slipknot”

Metal fans, meet Josh Pray, your new favorite comedian.

Mr. Pray has a long history of commenting on metal and hard rock via highly entertaining videos with titles such as “Slayer Has Made Me a Groupie,” “Motörhead is What Sound Sounds Like,” and “Creed Was Sent From Heaven and I Had No Idea” (clearly, Pray has next-level titling talent), as well as a series of loving odes to Rammstein.

Now he’s released a pair of hilarious videos about the developing Slipknot/Machine Gun Kelly beef, in which he attempts to warn Kelly (né Fisticuffs Finkelstein) off of picking a fight with Corey Taylor and company.

In the first clip, released last week, Pray advises Kelly:

“Do not disrespect Slipknot… Slipknot ain’t even a heavy metal — If you can take the Earth and weigh it, it still wouldn’t be as heavy as Slipknot. Slipknot don’t have fans, they have a brotherhood… Those fans will go to a Disney on Ice concert, and while Aladdin is saying ‘I can show you the world,’ they will mosh pit that shit… This is a different kind of tough. These people eat cereal with leather spoons and stuff. These people will floss with their own damn hair.”

The second video, released this past Sunday (September 26) in response to MGK’s reportedly disastrous set at the Louder Than Life festival, includes gems such as this:

“I tried to warn that young boy… Because I knew this was gonna happen. Let me tell you what’s going to happen [next] — it’s going to get way worse before it never gets better.”

Watch both of Pray’s Slipknot/MGK videos — and a sampling of his other metal-related work — below. You can find more of his work on Facebook and YouTube.
