Bullet for My Valentine Stream New Single “Rainbow Veins”

Thus far, all the material we’ve heard from the new, self-titled Bullet for My Valentine album has sounded like Machine Head Lite. But that’s not at all the case with the record’s latest single, “Rainbow Veins.”

This song sounds much more like Bring Me the Horizon or Architects. There’s some heavier moments (particularly around the three minute mark), but generally it’s a very poppy, auto-tune soaked, pop-infused fifth generation metalcore song that seems predestined to appeal predominantly to moody adolescents. I was once a moody adolescent, so I feel for those kids, truly. But as a 40-year-old man, nah, this ain’t for me.

But maybe it’s for you? Feel free to listen below and find out.

Bullet for My Valentine’s Bullet for My Valentine comes out November 5, via Spinefarm /Search & Destroy; pre-order here. It was supposed to come out this month but something happened. COVID-induced manufacturing delays or some shit. I thought I had a press release but I don’t. Whatever, the album is coming out a couple of weeks later, boo-hoo.
