Slipknot Are Bringing Knotfest to Australia

Australia will get a chance to party Des Moines style when Slipknot bring Knotfest to the land down under in March 24-26, 2023. Already announced for the three-date run are Slipknot, Parkway Drive, Megadeth, Trivium, Amon Amarth and a bunch more.

On March 24, Knotfest will be held at Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne; Centennial Park in Sydney on March 25; and Brisbane Showgrounds on March 26. According to the Slipknot website, Knotfest will seek to recreate the same dark, circusy vibe of the US events.

The masked nine will take on Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in March of next year.

Expanding the international footprint of the Knotfest banner, Slipknot have confirmed a trek to the land Down Under with the announcement of Knotfest Australia set for March of 2023.

With consecutive appearances confirmed for March 23rd in Melbourne, March 24th in Sydney and March 25th in Brisbane, the news arrives after a weeklong teaser that played out via Slipknot’s social media in recent days. Last week, the band shared the iconic, dark circus imagery synonymous with the Knotfest experience aimed at Australia that read, coming soon.

The confirmation from Slipknot marks the first time since 2016 that the band has touched down in Australia. The last time Slipknot toured Down Under, the band was supporting .5 The Gray Chapter making it nearly seven years since the band last played for the Aussie fans.

The announcement of an Australian version of Knotfest comes on the heels of Slipknot’s seventh album, The End, So Far, which was released last month. Tickets go on sale on November 7, 9am local time. There’s a mailing list for early birds and more info. Check out the full lineup and poster below.
