You’re Gonna Need Some Knee Protection Before Checking Out DragonForce’s latest Skyrim Inspired Music Video

0

It’s been 11 years since The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim came out for the now ancient PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but that didn’t stop the epic power metal band DragonForce from releasing a music video heavily inspired by the game for their aptly named single, “The Last Dragonborn.”

Currently on tour in Europe with Powerwolf and Warkings, this latest video is the first to feature their new bassist Alicia Vigil. As her first appearance on a DragonForce music video, Vigil said she was stoked to be part this latest release.

“It’s been an honor and an incredible experience playing with these guys the last few years. I’m excited to be a part of their upcoming album with them, plus continue touring – and everything else in between – as an official DragonForce member!”

As you can see in the video below, when I say the track and video is heavily inspired by Skyrim, what I really mean is that it has a dude dressed like the protagonist walking around a snowy forest with footage of the band playing interspersed throughout. I’m also pretty sure the dragon near the end of that clip is Alduin, but that might just be me showing exactly how nerdy I am. The song and video are basically a love letter to the game that just won’t die.

As of now, DragonForce just has a few more shows left on their European trek. If you’re in the area and want to hear some power metal, be sure to check out the venues and dates below. Just make sure to protect your knees from incoming arrows.
