Amon Amarth Unveil Their Latest Cinematic Video for “Oden Owns You All”

Take up your weapons and guzzle that horn filled with mead, because the Viking lords of Amon Amarth are back to kick ass and take names with the release of their latest cinematic lyric video for “Oden Owns You All.”

As the latest single off their 12th studio album, The Great Heathen Army, “the death metal “Oden Owns You All” tells the familiar story of war, conquest, and the vanquishing of one’s enemies once the carnage has subsided. It’s big, it’s epic, and thanks to the high production values found in the music video below, it’s insanely engaging. Which isn’t anything new because if you’ve ever known anything about Amon Amarth, it’s that they enjoy their bombast and spectacle.

You’d especially know that fact if you’d caught them live during this latest string of shows across North America. Along with Carcass, Obituary, and Cattle Decapitation, the tour’s been one heavy as fuck show after another, with some venues actually getting the band’s full European setup complete with Viking ships, a Viking helmet drum riser, live battle reenactments, the “Viking Row” and one hell of a pyrotechnics display.

The tour will run until December 17 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, where Amon Amarth will be the first death metal band to headline a show there.
