There’s been a lot of activity in the Linkin Park camp as of late. There’d been rumors of a Meteora re-release for some time to celebrate its 20th anniversary and that’s been confirmed. Then their website turned into a puzzle and fans began working to decode whatever shenanigans the band had going on. Now, the iconic nu-metal band has announced that fans are going to get the first new track in years in the form of a previously unreleased song titled “Lost.”

Recorded during the Meteora sessions, the 18 second clip features the late Chester Bennington pretty prominently. As you’ll recall, Bennington committed suicide back in 2017 and was found dead in one of his homes. The remaining members of Linkin Park have largely stepped away from the spotlight ever since.

As for the new track, the band previously hinted at it in a TikTok video that showcased a “lost tape” f rom the band. It was naturally connected to a puzzle on their website and it caused fans to scour the page for further clues. Who knows what else the band has in store leading up to the Meteora anniversary on March 25.

You can presave “Lost” today via Apple Music, Deezer, and Spotify. You can also check out the previous clip, as well as the “lost tape” TikTok, below.
