Two Shows Added to The Black Dahlia Murder’s Spring Tour
The return tour of The Black Dahlia Murder this spring is getting a little bit longer, as the Michigan-based death metal outfit announced earlier today that they’re adding two more dates to their already scheduled 35-date tour.
The band will now officially start their stint on the road on April 12 at Lakewood, Ohio’s The Foundry before heading to Richmond, Virginia the following day to demolish the Canal Club. These two shows will take place right before The Verminous Remnant Tour with Terror, Frozen Soul, Fuming Mouth and Phobophilic starts on April 14 in Philly for the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest.
As you may already know, this upcoming tour will be the band’s first tour since the late and irreplaceable Trevor Strnad passed away. Back in October, the world got its first glimpse of this latest iteration of The Black Dahlia Murder, with founding member and guitarist Brian Eschbach now fronting the band. At the time, the show in Detroit’s Saint Andrew’s Hall was a cathartic event for fans to remember Strnad, who died far too young at 41 years old. It was also a moment to welcome ex-guitarist Ryan Knight back into the fold.
