Puddle of Mudd’s Wes Scantlin is Arrested… Again
Wes Scantlin, known for his role as vocalist and guitarist with Puddle of Mudd, was arrested on February 20 after showing up at his foreclosed property.
The story was broken on social media by TikTok user @annmcferran and in media coverage by Radar Online.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s Inmate Information Center lists that the vocalist was arrested in Hollywood at 11 a.m., then taken to jail for a misdemeanor-level trespassing charge. He was held on a $1,000 bond and released around 2:30 p.m.
The above-mentioned TikTok user is also the person who discovered Scantlin on the property and called the police when he refused to leave. She took a video of the Puddle of Mudd singer sitting in the garage of his former property in a Hummer.
This is not the first time Scantlin has had a brush with the law. He has been arrested before for charges relating to substance misuse and financial issues. In 2017, he announced he was sober and seeking to make positive changes in his life.
This video indicates that Scantlin is definitely still battling some demons. It is not yet clear why exactly he was at the property or what prompted him to camp out in the driveway.
