The Callous Daoboys Are Working on a New EP

0

They may have just been showcased at Knotfest’s Pulse Of The Maggots Official SXSW Showcase over the weekend, but it doesn’t look like Atlanta-based mathcore mad hatters The Callous Daoboys are ready to slow down anytime soon. Just yesterday, the frenetic septet revealed that they’re “hard at work” on more new music.

Late yesterday afternoon, the band took to Twitter to slyly hint at “EP3” before stating that the music was coming soon.

Ever since the release of their latest studio effort Celebrity Therapist, the Daoboys have been on an absolute tear. When they’re not ripping it up on stage with Escuela Grind and Varials, they’re selling out a book store and delivering a devastating Deftones cover.

In recent months, the band has kept busy by staying on the road. They only just recently finished a 25-date run in support of D.R.U.G.S. (Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows) on their Destroy. Rebuild. Tour. And while they’re currently working on new music, the band is also slated to hit the road yet again for a short seven date run this May that will also include a performance at the Bamboozle Festival in Atlantic City.

Honestly, if you haven’t given these guys a chance yet, you’re missing out on something huge. Just sit down, hit play on Celebrity Therapist, and immediately understand why they took the world by storm last year.
