Make Sure You Blast Cavalera’s Re-Recorded Version of “Morbid Visions”

0

Last month we learned that the Cavalera brothers, Igor and Max, were re-recording two releases from Sepultura‘s discography, Morbid Visions and Bestial Devastation. And while at the time the prospect of hearing some classic Brazilian death/thrash metal was exciting, you can bet our excitement level’s spiked quite a bit after listening to the new version of the track, “Morbid Visions.”

Earlier today, Cavalera (the band, that is) released the song as their first single from the two re-recorded records. And just as they’d said they’d be trying to modernize their former band’s initial offerings, this new version of “Morbid Visions” you can hear below is a ripper.

Along with the new single, the Cavalera brothers announced that both re-recorded albums will be released via Nuclear Blast Records on July 14. You can pre-order and pre-save both Morbid Visions and Bestial Devastation today.

In addition to the pair of re-recorded efforts, the band announced that they’re going back on tour this fall to support the two releases. The 40-day trek will start in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 29 and come to a stop in Los Angeles on October 18. You can find the full list of dates below.
