Metallica Defend a Fan and Her Bagpipes Cover
They might be the biggest metal band on the planet, but when they’re not playing two shows in every city, Metallica find time to support their fans, especially when those fans are the victims of negative comments for their Metallica fandom. Youtube user Ally the Piper posted a short medley of herself including bagpipes in “One,” “Fade to Black,” “Enter Sandman” and “Whiskey in the Jar.”
Of course, someone always has to be a dickhead and one user commented “Bagpipes don’t belong in Metallica!! James would not approve,” to which the official Metallica account responded “This guy doesn’t speak on our behalf. You’re awesome.” Hard to argue with the experts themselves!
