Inferno Metal Festival Norway Adds Six New Bands Including Cattle Decapitation and 200 Stab Wounds

0

Easter weekend next year will prove to be an even louder couple days in Oslo, Norway than expected, as organizers of the annual Inferno Metal Festival Norway announced the second wave of bands being added to its lineup. And considering the list of bands that were already confirmed, that’s saying something.

Set to take place between March 28 and March 31, 2024, the festival will now feature Carpathian Forest, Cattle Decapitation, Signs of the Swarm, Umbra Conscientia, 200 Stab Wounds and Vomit Forth. That right lineup right there would be enough for most fans to grab a ticket.

Organizers say they aren’t even done adding new bands to the list, too. So this festival stands to only get bigger as we get closer to it.

The festival will be held across multiple venues in Oslo, rather than a centralized location with multiple stages, with each stage hosting some of the world’s new and established extreme metal acts. With today’s announcement, the lineup is as follows:

  • Borknagar
  • Sólstafir
  • Finntroll
  • Carpathian Forest
  • Cattle Decapitation
  • Keep of Kalessin
  • Misþyrming
  • Saor
  • Konvent
  • Khold
  • Crypta
  • Signs of the Swarm
  • Extermination Dismemberment
  • Orm
  • Umbra Conscientia
  • 200 Stab Wounds
  • Tilintetgjor
  • Imbalance
  • Nakkeknaekker
  • Vomit Forth
  • Horrifier

In addition to the musical acts, the festival will feature an art exhibition and a tattoo fair. Last year saw the addition of black metal sightseeing from around the area, though we don’t know if that’s coming back this year.

As it stands right now, tickets are currently at their lowest price point, with the cost of attending set to increase on February 28, 2024. For more information and to find potential hotel accommodations, be sure to check out the Inferno Festival website.
