Danzig Forced to Reschedule Shows Due to Tour Bus Shortages
Putting on a tour is hard these days and not even the legendary (albeit goofy as hell) Danzig can avoid that unfortunate truth. Just weeks before his tour with Behemoth, Twin Temple, and Midnight were set to kick off in Las Vegas, our Satanic little Elvis announced via social media that unforeseen circumstances forced him to cancel and reschedule the first two shows.
According to the Facebook post in question, the decision to reschedule the first two dates was predicated on the fact that they were unable to secure proper busing for the tour. Blaming that fact on a tour bus shortage, Danzig’s camp opted to shift the canceled dates to the end of the tour, though the south California date had to be moved to a new venue as a result.
“Due to the current Tour Bus Shortage we are forced to move the Las Vegas & SoCal Shows to the end of the Tour Sept. 22 & 23 in order to secure a Tour Bus. The Las Vegas Show will remain in the Same Venue for the Friday Sept. 22 date but the SoCal Show had to be moved to The Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA for Sat. Sept. 23. Pre-sales for the CA. Show that moved to Ontario start Monday. Aug. 7 Ticket info shortly.”
This is certainly an unfortunate turn of events, especially for the folks that could make it to the August 26 date in Norco, California, but now potentially can’t make it out to Ontario. Ideally, the number of folks that can’t make it will be limited though, since Norco’s only 10 miles away from Ontario.
