Dragonforce to Play New Material on Upcoming Tour

0

Are you finally tired of listening to “Through the Fire and Flames” while reminiscing about the times that you could actually play the song on expert? Well, good news for you because extreme power metal unit Dragonforce have given an update on the timeline for their next release, which is confirmed for release via Napalm Records. Vocalist Marc Hudson spoke to Heavy Debriefings and said that Dragonforce have been working on new material, some of which they will play live on tour.

“I’m actually going into the studio probably tonight to finish off some stuff. But, yeah, we’ve been working on an album for a while now and, obviously, trying to play some shows in between. We’ve got a few festivals. We just did one last weekend, and then we’ve got one this weekend.

“Then obviously the big tour [in the fall]. So, yeah, we need to basically finish all that up. We’ve basically finished everything. It’s just a case of like polishing the final product and then hopefully playing some of the songs — well, we definitely will be playing the songs on the next tour, so [we’ll be] learning a new setlist and all that stuff.”

It’s looking like this will be the longest gap that Dragonforce have ever had between albums so make sure you get your fix when they hit the road next month.
