Voice of Ruin Unleash New Single “The Vile King”

Swiss melodic death/thrash metal outfit Voice of Ruin is back with another track off their upcoming album Cold Epiphany and boy, is it a fuckin’ doozy. Released just moments ago, “The Vile King” is a sonic punch to the face.

As the second single off their upcoming album, the band has once again showcased their punchy rhythm section comprised of bassist Erwin Bertschi and drummer Dario Biner, while guitarists Nicolas Haerri and Darryl Ducret provide the band’s ample attack in the mix. If you hit play on this one and don’t immediately start banging your head, you’re in the wrong place.

Having put four years between this upcoming album and their last release, Acheron, vocalist Randy Schaller said he and his bandmates were chomping at the bit to get the music out to fans.

“We are so excited to release this new album because we have never taken so much time. Especially since each member has gone through difficult times as well as life challenges since the release of Acheron back in 2019, a few months before the pandemic.

“The writing process of this fourth album began at the end of 2020 and lasted until the end of last year. In fact we kept only 10 titles out of the 40 demos we had recorded. For the first time, our guitarist Nicolas took charge of production, recording and mixing and we are super happy with the result. Cold Epiphany is not a concept album but a blend of the best and heaviest music we have created over the last four years”

Cold Epiphany will be released on December 1, but you can preorder your copy today.
