Pantera Backs Out of Aftershock Festival

0

If you’ve got tickets to this year’s Aftershock Festival and were hyped about getting to see Pantera, we’ve got some unfortunate news for you. Just minutes ago, the band took to their social media accounts to announce that they weren’t going to be able to perform at this year’s event due to “circumstances beyond our control.”

“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be unable to perform at this year’s edition of Aftershock next month. This event is monumental and it pained us to have to miss it. We will however be back for Aftershock 2024!

“A sincere thank you to Danny Wimmer Presents as well as all the fans around the globe who’ve supported the 2023 Pantera celebration. We will see you all at Louder Than Life this weekend and Aftershock next year!”

We don’t know at this time what could have caused the band to cancel their appearance on the festival a month out, but at least they confirmed that they’ll likely be part of next year’s event.

Aside from Louder Than Life, however, the band is apparently still committed to performing on Metallica’s M72 World Tour. You can find the full list of dates planned for the rest of 2023, as well as a few 2024 gigs, down below.
