200 Stab Wounds’ “Masters of Morbidity” Added to Rock Band 4

I don’t know about you, but I had zero idea that they were still making downloadable content for Rock Band 4. So you can imagine my surprise when I was alerted to the fact that not only does that still exist, but that one of the fastest rising death metal bands in the country is getting added today.

Harmonix, the company behind the Rock Band and original Guitar Hero series, recently made the announcement earlier today that 200 Stab Wounds and their song “Masters of Morbidity” would be available to fans today. If you’ve ever played a Rock Band game, you know just how insane that shit is likely going to be.

For the uninitiated, the Rock Band video game series allowed players to take up plastic instruments and a microphone to not only play a rhythm game, but also cosplay as an entire band without having to do tedious work like practicing.

This isn’t the first time a metal band’s been added to the game, with Lamb of God, Megadeth, The Dillinger Escape Plan, and a whole list of other worthwhile acts having made the game over the years. Though this is certainly going to be one of the more difficult tracks to play in the game.

And if 200 Stab Wounds isn’t your jam, the company announced they were also bringing Yes’ iconic son “Roundabout” to the game today. I don’t know about you, but that song fucking rules. Both of today’s inclusions might just make be break out the old plastic instruments and pretend I actually stuck to music and became a rock star……

Both tracks can be purchased on the Xbox or PlayStation online stores for $1.99 each. You can check both of them out in action in the clip below.
