Exodus Have a New Album Coming Next Year

0

Thrash metal fans and heshers of all ages, get your battle vests ready and start growing out that hair, because Bay Area masters Exodus will have new music for your earholes sooner than you think.

According to a video posted to Steve “Zetro” Souza‘s YouTube channel, Zetro’s Toxic Vault, the vocalist personally confirmed that the band’s follow up to 2021’s Persona Non Grata should be released by September 2024. He also estimated that work on the new album in terms of recording should begin either March or April.

Don’t want to wait that long for new Exodus music? Then you’re in luck because Souza also said the band would likely play some of the new songs they’re working on at various live shows before the new album is released. While that may be a common practice for other bands, it’s apparently the first time Exodus will ever lift the veil on new material like that.

As for their immediate plans, Exodus are about to head out on a North American fall tour with Fit For An Autopsy, Darkest Hour, and Undeath starting next month. The run will begin on November 15 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and come to a stop on December 10 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania.
