For the first time ever on standalone vinyl, the classic Type O Negative album Life Is Killing Me is getting its due with an extremely limited run. Just two decades after its initial release, this album will be featured in a killer color variant and MetalSucks readers now have a shot at pre-ordering one of just 1,000 copies of this special release.
Released back in 2003, the iconic gothic metal band’s sixth studio album, Life Is Killing Me has some absolute classics, including the title track, “I Don’t Want To Be Me,” “(We Were) Electrocute,” and more. Included in this special vinyl release are two LPs worth of bonus tracks, including “Cinnamon Girl (Extended Depression Mix)” and their cover of “Black Sabbath.”
As you can tell in the images below, this new release comes in a sick new “full metal jacket” colorway, which is a mix of solid silver and solid dark green. And while this isn’t the first time the album’s made its way to vinyl, it’s the first time fans can get a hold of it outside of a costly (albeit infinitely badass) box set.
We can’t stress just how limited of a run this is. At just 1,000 copies, this is very likely to sell out before its street date of January 12, 2024. And once again we have to warn you that once they’re gone, they’re gone.
