Drummer Jeramie Kling Has Left Venom Inc.

After five years behind the kit for Venom Inc., Jeramie Kling is out. His departure was announced via a statement posted on social media earlier this week, in which the Florida-based musician explained that it all came down to logistics.

“I have decided to part ways with Venom Inc. due to logistical reasons.

“This has been an incredible journey that has taken me around the world! I have seen countries I had never been too, met wonderful friends and had a blast doing it! I am proud of what we created on There’s Only Black as well as the countless shows we have played over the years.

“Very special thanks to all of the Venom fans that have accepted and welcomed me into the legacy. I will forever cherish your support.”

Kling, whose stage name with the band was “War Machine” and who’s also a member of Inhuman Condition, had been featured on the band’s 2022 full-length album There’s Only Black. Other than that, he was the man behind the band’s pulse ever since he was tapped during a European tour to fill in for Anthony “Abaddon” Bray, who wanted to spend time with his newborn daughter. Kling was eventually made the band’s full-time drummer.

Though the other members of the band were located in Europe, Kling told a fan online that he “didn’t mind the traveling,” so the long-distance nature of the band wasn’t the deciding point.

Venom’s most recent tour ended last month when they hit venues across the U.S. with Ringworm, Satan, and 72 Legions for the “Better To Reign in Hell” Tour.

We don’t know at this time what Venom Inc. is planning to do now that they’re without a drummer. It wouldn’t be the first time they’d continue without one, since their debut 2017 album Avé featured programmed drum tracks.
