Danish death metal band Plaguemace dropped their debut album Reptilian Warlords today via Napalm Records. To commemorate the release, the band put out an animated video for the song “Carnivore.”

The old-school death metal band bring the best of heavy, classic brutality and melody here. The band combine straightforward blasting with thrash and death ‘n’ roll. This is the final track from the forthcoming album, so we know the record finishes on a strong note.

Some of the other tracks on the record are “Cannibalicious,” the groove-filled “Impenetrable Leather,” and the memorable title track. According to the band, Reptilian Warlords is the start of what should be a storyline that will be present in their future releases.

Reptilian Warlords is the first in a series of concept albums taking place in our own fictional universe. The story has been torn apart chronologically and will be put together throughout this, and the following, releases. So stay tuned to find out what happens next. The themes of Reptilian Warlords include ANGER, vengeance, desire, war and enraging bloodthirst.”

Reptilian Warlords is available right now wherever you get your music.
