Moments ago, organizers for next year’s Milwaukee MetalFest announced a truly eclectic mix of acts set to take the stage over the course of four days from May 16 to May 19 at The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee, WI.

With this year’s show marking the festival’s successful return to form, co-organizer and Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta said this year’s offering was going to be a wild ride through the a number of metal’s various subgenres.

“We extremely excited to have Milwaukee Metal Fest not only coming back for another insane year but this time around we have added power metal, more black metal, more doom and some other surprise elements that were not logistically possible last year. This is just the first of many announcements on the horizon and I can’t wait to see everyone in Milwaukee next May!”

Just as had been promised earlier this year, just one look at the list of announced bands below and you can easily come to the conclusion that the previous promise that was made earlier this month to “branch out” with next year’s lineup has been fulfilled.

Last year’s festival featured some huge names on the bill, including Lamb of God, Corrosion of Conformity, Goatwhore, Shadows Fall, The Black Dahlia Murder, Napalm Death, just to name a few. We already know there will be other bands announced for the 2024 edition of the festival, so here’s hoping some more big names get announced in the coming weeks.

To that end, Sound Talent Group’s Tim Borror said Milwaukee MetalFest is the natural progression from last year’s event.

“Milwaukee Metal Fest 2023 was so awesome but more importantly, it’s a stake in the ground of how important and vital metal music is. Especially extreme metal! 2024 is going to be even more incredible. Come hang with us in May”

In addition to the list of live bands, the festival will include even bigger headliners, more food and vendors, live podcasts, and more.

Early bird tickets are available right now, with one, two and three day options and zero interest payment plans over at the festival’s Etix page.
