Godsmack to Serenade North America with Some Acoustic ‘Vibez’ in Newly Announced Tour

0

Put down your Monster energy drink and slap on some more ointment on that new tribal tattoo, it’s almost time to secure yourself some tickets to an upcoming Godsmack show. But it’s not going to be just any Godsmack tour, not at all. No this time they’re ditching the electric instruments in favor of wooden “grandpa’s guitars” for their newly announced acoustic/electric tour called the Godsmack ‘Vibez’ Tour.

Still in support of their latest album Lighting Up The Sky, Godsmack said they’re going for a more “intimate experience.” As such, it looks like they’re playing some mid-sized venues, rather than the huge arenas they’ve played in the past. According to the band, the tour will feature a unique setlist and “untold stories.”

The first leg is slated to kick off on February 15 in Catoosa, Oklahoma and come to an end on March 16 in Miami Beach, Florida. But that’s not all, as the tour already has a second leg planned out. That run will start on April 9 in Valley Center, California and come to an end on May 5 in Oxon Hill, Maryland. In between both legs will be an electric show at Arizona Bike Week.

Coming along for the ride on this “intimate” tour will be Bastian da Cruz.

Tickets will go on sale starting with an artist presale tomorrow at 10 a.m. local time. Throughout the week, other presales will take place, with the general sale finally kicking off on December 1 at 10 a.m. local time.
