Hatebreed Announce Long Island Club Residency

0

Band residencies aren’t as much of a thing in the U.S., but hardcore legends Hatebreed might be looking to change that. They’ve just announced a Long Island, New York club residency, so if you’re a local, get stoked.

The hardcore icons are doing the residency as part of their 30th anniversary celebration. They’ve been a hardcore staple for just as long, and while they don’t do that many live performances anymore, this residency in January, and then the two fests they will play next spring, still helps get their music in front of the fans who still very much want to hear it.

The residency will take place at Amityville Music Hall in Amityville, NY. The band says about this appearance, as well as their following dates later in the year:

“Our 30th-anniversary celebration will start by going back to our roots, playing multiple nights in small clubs with some of our favorite bands, old and new. This is the first of many announcements to come. We’ll also be doing LDB and Milwaukee Metalfest, heading to Europe in the summer, and a full U.S. tour in the fall. We can’t wait to see everyone.”

Next year’s tour dates:

Jan. 18 – Amityville Music Hall – Amityville, NY
Jan. 19 – Amityville Music Hall – Amityville, NY
Jan. 20 – Amityville Music Hall – Amityville, NY
Mar. 22 – LDB Fest – Louisville, KY
May 18 – Milwaukee Metalfest – Milwaukee, WI

With 30 years of music under their belt, Hatebreed have gone from local hardcore heroes in the Long Island area to internationally renowned, headlining and selling out massive venues and making appearances at festivals including Ozzfest, Warped Tour, and Download Fest.

And on top of all this, Hatebreed are still relevant today and making music, as they recently dropped the song “Looking Down The Barrel Of Today,” which you can stream below. Hopefully there will be more music from the band soon, and maybe even a few more live appearances.
