Fear Factory Wants to Release a New Album “As Soon As Possible”
It feels like we’ve been talking about a new Fear Factory album for what feels like forever at this point, but industrial metal fans seemingly won’t have to wait too much longer for at least one new tune. During a recent interview with BPM Live, guitarist Dino Cazares revealed that the band’s next studio release could be coming soon, but that they plan to at least release a single before 2024’s done.
Once released, their as of yet unnamed album will be the band’s first with vocalist Milo Silvestro and their follow up to 2021’s Aggression Continuum. Cazares said the main thing slowing down the new album’s release is the band’s touring plans for 2024.
“We want to try to get something out as soon as possible, but it may be a little bit of a while because we have a lot of touring coming up. I’m trying to stop (touring) at the end of June so we can go straight into the studio and start recording. But we’re pretty much booked from now to the end of June, and it’s gonna be a good six months. We’ve got to at least put a single out before the end of the year.”
Speaking of their touring schedule, Fear Factory will kick off their 2024 live schedule starting this Thursday, with some shows featuring just them and Orbit Culture, while the majority of their early tour dates are part of the Slaughter The Martøur Nørth America 2024 with Machine Head.
