Anthrax and Kreator to Co-Headline European Tour This Winter
American and German thrash metal titans are heading out on the road together at the tail end of the year when Anthrax and Kreator rip across Europe. Not only that, but Testament is also on the bill, soooo…. holy shit.
As any thrash metal fan will tell you, that’s one hell of a bill. You may also remember that it’s been a minute since Anthrax toured Europe proper, as logistical issues and costs caused them to axe plans. That fact isn’t lost on the band, who said in a statement that the newly announced tour is their chance to get back in front of those fans.
“It’s been about four years since we last toured the UK AND Europe, so these dates ARE LONG overdue! And what a line-up – Anthrax, Kreator and Testament – so much f**cking metal! We can’t wait to bring the noise to you, and maybe surprise you with a song from our brand new album coming later this year. So get ready to rage friends, this time, we ARE coming!!
While Anthrax is just getting back to Europe for the first time in a while, Kreator will admittedly be playing in their back yard. And they’re stoked about it.
“This is possibly the most irresistible thrash package ever put together, the best of the US and Europe in one night! These will be some of our biggest shows in Europe, so we are bringing a huge production and plan to tear it up every show!’’
Tickets for the tour will go live on January 26 at 9 a.m. GMT. Be sure you get yours, because this is gonna be a hell of a show.
