Get Amped for Kataklysm’s Upcoming Tour Dates with Their “Goliath” Music Video

0

Earlier today, the international melodic death metal outfit Kataklysm dropped a music video for “Goliath,” the title track off their 2023 album. And while they could have spent a whole buncha money filming some sort of story-driven epic, they decided to keep shit simple and show you how fucking fun their shows can be.

As you’ll see in the clip below, the video focuses on the moments leading up to a show, as well as the pandemonium that ensues when the music hits and the fans get wild.

Speaking of the single, vocalist Maurizio Iacono said the song was all about overcoming adversity and the difficulties facing the world today.

“As we enter a new year we cannot forget about the struggles the world is in and the darkness that engulfs it, however as the story tells of ancient bravery. No enemy is too big and no enemy is too strong … we are living through a modern-day Davis vs Goliath situation, it’s time to rise up together and bond that energy as one against the machine! Enjoy this video we shot for the title track “Goliath” as we prepare to embark on a world mission in the name of metal and freedom!”

If the live clips got you excited, you’ll be pleased to know that Kataklysm will be touring North America with Decapitated, Septicflesh, and Allegaeon on the ‘Cancer Culture Over North America 2024’ tour. General admission tickets go on sale this Monday, January 19 at 7 a.m. PST/10 a.m. EST, so be sure to check out the full list of dates below to see when it’ll come to a venue near you.
