Thy Art Is Murder Coming to North America for the First Time Since Ousting CJ McMahon

0

Australian deathcore outfit Thy Art Is Murder is coming back to the western hemisphere for their first North American tour since the release of last year’s album Godlike. Not only will it be the first time they’ll be in our neck of the woods in support of their latest offering, but it’s also the first time they’ll be here without ousted vocalist CJ McMahon.

With the run of 25-dates set to start in Montreal, Quebec on April 11 and coming to an end on May 11 in Sayreville, New Jersey, the tour will be North American fans’ first time personally witnessing the band with new vocalist Tyler Miller from Aversions Crown.

As you may or may not recall, McMahon was given the boot after getting all anti-trans online and causing a major controversy through his social media commentary. The band didn’t take light to that after some prodding by concerned fans and responded by not only kicking McMahon out, but also by re-recording his parts on Godlike.

Coming along on the tour will be supporting acts Angelmaker, Signs of the Swarm, and Snuffed on Sight. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
