Higher Power just elevated in the world of metal when they signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Records, and to celebrate, they dropped a video for the single “Absolute Bloom.” You can stream the video below.

The Leeds, U.K.-based band play a unique blend of metal combining shoegaze, punk, grunge, thrash, old-school death metal, and more.

Speaking of the single, vocalist Jimmy Wizard spoke about how personal the song was for him.

“I’m super excited to release this song. It’s really personal to me in this transitional period of my life, about wanting a deeper more meaningful connection to the real world and not quite being equipped to do so, but finding hope and figuring it out. The music reflects that with a song that’s so big and upbeat.”

Now that the band are signed to Nuclear Blast, we can definitely expect some exciting new music in the near future. Keep your ears peeled for more announcements from the band.
