Witch Vomit’s Funeral Sanctum Out This April, Single “Blood of Abomination” Streaming Now
Devastatingly brutal death metal outfit Witch Vomit have a new album Funeral Sanctum coming out via 20 Buck Spin on April 5 and they’ve unleashed its first cut onto the world. Titled “Blood of Abomination,” this new track is aggressive, yet still has just enough evil sounding melody in it to get ya hooked into what the Portland, Oregon-based band is doing.
As their follow up to 2019’s Buried Deep in a Bottomless Grave, their new album is being described as an expansion to the “dark melodicism buried within the butchery of past releases, now sharpened into black obsidian, and caustically fused with the band’s hallmark brutality.” Recorded and mixed last November by Evan Mersky at Red Lantern Studios and mastered by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound Studio, the album will feature 10 new tracks.
