Finnish heavy metal band Beast In Black is descending to the depths of Hell in a new collaboration with Blizzard’s iconic RPG franchise Diablo for their latest single “Enter The Behelit.”

Out now via Nuclear Blast Records, “Enter The Behelit” is exclusively released as part of crossover between Diablo and the classic anime/manga series written and illustrated by Kentaro Miura, Berserk. The song is accompanied by a cinematic animated video directed by longtime Beast In Black collaborator, Katri Ilona Koppanen, who also worked on the videos for “Moonlight Rendezvous,” “Hardcore”, and others.

Speaking about their new release, Beast In Black guitarist and songwriter, Anton Kabanen said:

“The essence that swells in boundless volumes from the juxtaposition of light and darkness, angels and demons, good and evil, the carnal and the spiritual, is the key that seamlessly binds together the aesthetics and narratives of Diablo, Berserk and Beast In Black. To somewhat poetically reflect on this extraordinary yet congruous collaboration, I can say it feels almost as if this newborn and destined-to-be trinity has been designed by the God Hand itself. On behalf of Beast In Black’s team I express our sincerest gratitude to the dedicated teams at Blizzard, Berserk and Nuclear Blast. Thank you for making this happen. And finally, my individual acknowledgement and bottomless gratitude goes – as always – to Kentaro Miura.”

Over a hundred maxi singles were released on black and red marbled vinyl to celebrate the launch of this special collaboration. Other Beast In Black singles that feature include remastered versions of “Die By The Blade” and “From Hell with Love.”

So far, all the music chosen for this new partnership embodies a gothic darkness, wonder and mystery. All of which are heavy themes in the new Berserk series. Meanwhile, the Diablo IV Season 8: Belial’s Return officially launched yesterday and further unravels the dark and twisted adventures of Diablo‘s story.
