Blackbraid Unleashes “Wardrums at Dawn on the Day of my Death”
When it comes to highly anticipated albums of the year, the conversation can’t continue without mentioning the third full-length album from Blackbraid, aptly titled Blackbraid III. The brainchild of vocalist Sgah’gahsowáh, Blackbraid has gained a serious following since the release of their 2023 debut album Blackbraid I. Ever since then, they’ve yet to disappoint with his brand of Native American black metal and the new album’s first single, released earlier today, doesn’t fail to impress.
Set for release this August, the first single off of Blackbraid III was just released today, titled “Wardrums at Dawn on the Day of my Death”. Coupled with a music video that aims to capture the high energy that Blackbraid shows tend to extract from their crowds, it’s a powerful combination that only makes me want the new album even more.
