Heartsick Shares Obliterating Single “Break the Curse”

The music industry can be a bit of a curse itself. With streaming stats determining success, award shows determining social status, and more often than not, the incessant greed from major labels.

Out now, “Break The Curse” is the latest single from Midwest hardcore quartet, Heartsick. The track is made up of furious blastbeats and raging fry screams. Shared as their debut single of 2025, “Break The Curse” beckons your attention from the get-go and is a testament to all the smaller, independent artists and bands who are struggling to break through the barriers the music industry often has.

Speaking about the song’s meaning, the band shares,

“The song is a statement on being successful in gaining small wins but still failing to garner the support of those in the industry that hold the keys to larger opportunities.”

This August, Heartsick are hitting the road to join Nonpoint and Upon A Burning Body in support of the second leg of their Painful Statements tour. Check out the full list of dates below.
