God’s Hate Vocalist Brody King Launches “Abolish ICE” Charity Shirts
I love how hand in hand metal and wrestling go. I also love how hand in hand metal and politics go (when they’re one the good side of the political spectrum, of course), when bands are able to use their platforms and typically outspoken big mouths for the sake of the greater good. That’s what God’s Hate—particularly, their frontman Brody King—has done.
Not only is King a vocalist, he’s also an AEW (All Elite Wrestling) wrestler. Last week, while attending and performing at Glam Slam Mexico 2025 (a collab between AEW and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre), King walked out wearing an “Abolish Ice” shirt, a commentary on the ongoing protests in Los Angeles against ICE agents and their illegal detaining of human beings in the region. Now, King has launched his own “Abolish ICE” shirt, designed by Travis Thornton. All proceeds from sales of the shirt are being donated to the Local Hearts Foundation, a nonprofit helping low-income and at risk communities.
The shirt costs $30 and can be purchased here.
