Fit For A King Unveils Metalcore Release “Begin The Sacrifice”
Today, metalcore five-piece Fit For A King has unveiled another layer from their forthcoming record, Lonely God. “Begin The Sacrifice,” their latest single, features a twisted storyline and a music video that feels like you’re watching the trailer of a thriller.
Speaking about the song’s meaning, Fit For A King vocalist Ryan Kirby shares:
“Thematically, you can think of it as a person who’s ready to begin the sacrifice of himself for a greater cause, but there are a million things asking for his attention. It’s not necessarily religion. People are arguing about everything these days. So, it’s easy to end up believing in nothing because you feel overwhelmed.”
“Begin The Sacrifice” is the third song lifted from the band’s new album, and follows after previous releases “TECHNIUM” and “Lonely God.”
This October, the band are heading on a major headline Lonely God Tour, with support acts Make Them Suffer, Spite and 156/Silence. You can find the full list of dates below and tickets here. Lonely God, the album is scheduled for release on August 1, but you can pre-order it here.
