Stoned Jesus Get “Low” on New Single

0

Stoner/doom metal outfit Stoned Jesus have a new album coming out in a couple weeks and they’ve dropped another single on our collective heads. And while the band admits it deals with “some heavy topics,” they opted to release a music video that showed the fun atmosphere that went into recording Songs to Sun.

The new track, “Low” is one hell of a burner. It’s heavy but it moves, man. I mean, it’s the first track in their repertoire to include blast beats, for Christ’s sake. Speaking of the track itself, frontman Igor Sydorenko said the new album gives fans a glimpse into a different side of the band.

“Songs to Sun shows off the heavier, more aggressive side to Stoned Jesus. ‘Low’ is about trying but failing to satisfy everyone. The frustration ends up exploding mid-song into what’s now our most straight-up metal song to date.”

Songs to Sun will be released on September 19 via Sounds Of Mist, but you can preorder and presave your copy today.

Songs to Sun tracklist

1. New Dawn
2. Shadowland
3. Lost in the Rain
4. Low
