System of a Down Announce Their First European Tour in Eight Years

0

Yesterday, we reported on some strange sightings across London that suggested System of a Down was planning something for their European fan base. It seemed pretty obvious they were going to announce an European tour, but this morning came with the confirmation we all needed — yes, the band that rarely does tours any more is going on tour next summer for seven stadium shows across the pond.

Set to take place from June 29 in Stockholm, Sweden to July 18 in Warsaw, Poland, the run will see the band hit other major cities like Paris, Berlin, and the aforementioned London. Coming along for the ride will be none other than the Queens of the Stone Age and Acid Bath.

With their eyes on this morning’s announcement, the band said they were excited to return to Europe after so many years away.

“We’re thrilled to return next summer with special guests Queens of the Stone Age and Acid Bath. Plans are also underway for a very special event to take place following these shows. Stay tuned…”
