Clothing Brand Any Means Necessary to Release Type O Negative Collection

We love an opportunity to get good if not just decent band merch that isn’t just centered around tours or whatever leftover logos happen to be licensed at Hot Topic. Thankfully we’ll get some sort of shot at high metal fashion with what street label Any Means Necessary is doing with one of the best (and hottest) goth bands to haunt the genre—Type O Negative.

The label managed to land a one-year licensing deal with the band, so the collection will include four capsule releases that combine some of Type O Negative’s signature logos and artwork with Any Means Necessary’s sartorial approach. A range of women’s and men’s apparel will be featured in the first capsule drop, including hoodies, shirts, pins, and more, and will pay tribute to Type O’s 1996 classic October Rust.

Any Means Necessary CEO, co-founder and creative director Shawn Coss said about the inspiration behind the partnership:

“This project is deeply personal for me. I’ve been a fan of Type O Negative since I was a teenager, and their music was a huge part of my youth. We wanted to honor their legacy while exposing a new generation to the original goth rock band. By blending their iconic aesthetic with our distinct sense of style, we’re creating pieces that let fans wear their darkness in a modern way.”

The Any Means Necessary x Type O Negative collection is set to come out next month, perfectly coinciding with the album it’s honoring.
