Acid Bath to Headline Next Year’s Milwaukee Metalfest

0

Another week, another Acid Bath live show announcement and this time, it’s a doozy. It turns out next year’s Milwaukee Metalfest will feature the revered sludgy doom metal act as one of their headliners. And if we’re keeping tabs on things, I guess this explains why the fest’s dates were pushed back to June.

According to festival co-organizer and Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta, the addition of Acid Bath was a long time coming. Now that they’ve got ’em as a headliner, he thinks next year’s show will be a big one.

“For the last three years, the number one requested band the fans wanted for Milwaukee Metal Fest was Acid Bath! We could not be more excited to have them in 2026!”

Ever since they reunited, Acid Bath has been aggressively adding live dates to their itinerary. With so many dates already planned out, it makes sense if this was the band that caused Milwaukee MetalFest to move to June 5-7 from its previously planned dates of May 16-18.

With their addition to the lineup now out in the open, Acid Bath’s Sammy Duet said he and his bandmates were stoked to be a part of next year’s festivities — especially since they last performed with the fest more than three decades ago.

“We are delighted to return to the Milwaukee Metal Festival after our last appearance there 32 years ago. We are looking forward to seeing all of you there!”
