Clutch and Corrosion of Conformity Announce the ‘Suffer No Evil’ U.S. Tour
This has got to be the best news I could have read today. After my New York Mets losing out on superstar closer Edwin Diaz, I’ve been in a bit of a funk this morning/early afternoon, but leave it to Neil Fallon, Pepper Keenan, and the rest of the boys to lift my spirits — Corrosion of Conformity and Clutch are joining forces and going out on tour this coming spring and they’re bringing along JD Pinkus as their supporting act.
The tour will mercifully launch in my Garden State on April 9 in Sayreville, New Jersey and the run will go until May 3 in Asheville, North Carolina. In between those dates, they’ll hit places like Worcester, Massachusetts; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Reno, Nevada… Basically places you wouldn’t consider major cities.
Regardless, both bands have new albums either in the works or coming out in 2026, so there’s sure to be some new material played at these shows. Having seen all of these bands live, I gotta say that you owe it to yourself to go to one of these shows, since both bands put on a killer set.
But don’t let my excitement tell you to go. Corrosion of Conformity commented on the matter, saying the following:
“To all the free thinkers and beer drinkers! It’s gonna be a busy 2026 for us all. The new album is coming your way and we can’t wait to get this one out there!! In addition to a string of headline dates and festivals, we are pleased to announce this run of gigs with our good buddies in Clutch. Gonna be a blast as always! See ya on the horizon.”
Shit is going to be a hell of a stoner metal party. Don’t miss out on this one. You’ll regret it if you do. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
