Ghost to Release Their Pet Shop Boys Cover of “It’s A Sin” Tomorrow
Earlier today, Ghost released the latest chapter in their ongoing lore series and the long and the short of it is that they’re releasing their cover of Pet Shop Boys’ “It’s A Sin” on all streaming platforms tomorrow.
The track had originally only been available as a bonus for the band’s 2018 album Prequelle, but had never been uploaded to the various platforms. Starting tomorrow, that all changes.
As for the lore video itself, it shows Frater Imperator (formerly Cardinal Copia/Papa Emeritus IV) addressing the people working under him. Though almost all of the Papa iterations have gotten a covers EP — If You Have Ghost in 2013, Popestar in 2016, and Phantomime in 2023 — it was also seemingly confirmed that there won’t be one for the current frontman, Papa V Perpetua. (Yes, I know they’re all Tobias Forge, just play along.)
In addition to the cover’s release, it’s important to note again that Ghost still have dates for their Skeletour scheduled for 2026, starting later this month. You can check out the full list of tour dates below.
