Death Angel to Play All of ‘Act III’ During Their 10th Annual Christmas Show
For the last 10 years, Death Angel have utilized the power of thrash metal to celebrate the holidays during special December shows. This year’s no different, except it’ll be a one-time thing, it won’t be livestreamed, and the band will play the entirety of Act III to mark that album’s 35th anniversary.
Originally released back in 1990, Act III was a major moment for Death Angel. Featuring a more melodic sound and a variation on their normal songwriting process, it caused some friction with fans that preferred their more explosive take on thrash.
With all that now in the past and Act III proving to stand the test of time, the band will take to the stage at San Francisco’s Fillmore on December 18 to play the whole album for the first time ever.
As it stands, there’s an artist presale going on for tickets. All you have to do is visit Ticketmaster and use their code BRINGFIRE to gain early access until tomorrow at 10 p.m. PDT. After that, tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday at 10 a.m. PST.
