Cryptopsy is Releasing a 30th Anniversary Edition of ‘Blasphemy Made Flesh’ That’ll Feature Some Unique Collabs
They may be just a tad late to celebrate the 30th anniversary of 1994’s Blasphemy Made Flesh, but Cryptopsy and Season Of Mist announced a special commemorative re-issue of that album that’s going to feature some pretty unique additions.
Set to release on July 18, this new and expanded version of Blasphemy Made Flesh will feature the original album, a previously-unreleased 1995 live set, and a new medley featuring the following artists:
- Shadow Of Intent vocalist Ben Duerr
- Stabbing vocalist Bridget Lynch
- Undeath vocalist Alexander Sason
- Carcosa vocalist Johnny Ciardullo
- Unfathomable Ruination vocalist Mallika Sundaramurthy
- Billy Strings contributing a guitar solo
In a major case of “one of these things is not like the other,” yes — that’s famed bluegrass musician Billy Strings in a list that also includes Undeath’s Alexander Sason and Carcosa’s Johnny Ciardullo. Little known fact about Strings, he’s a pretty big metalhead. Dude can shred.
This new edition of Blasphemy Made Flesh will be released on July 18 via Season Of Mist, but you can preorder your copy right now.
