Shinedown Reveal Acoustic Rendition of “Three Six Five”
Fresh off a successful sold-out show at Islington Assembly Hall, UK, Shinedown are back with an acoustic version of their single, “Three Six Five.”
This new and far more relaxed cover takes the song’s original uptempo alt-rock swagger into something more laidback. The track was co-written by Shinedown lead vocalist Brent Smith and pianist Eric Bass.
For the stripped-back acoustic version, Shinedown really shines a light on just how powerful the messages in the lyrics are and how far they can travel. On June 17, the band debuted the track live at their show in London to an intimate setting.
Up next, Shinedown are shortly set to embark on the next leg of dates for their Dance, Kid, Dance tour, featuring special guests Bush and Morgan Wade.
Following that run of dates, the group will also be hitting the road for Knotfest’s Mexico-based day festival. Playing alongside Slaughter To Prevail, Falling in Reverse, While She Sleeps, Hanabie., Fit For an Autopsy, and, unfortunately, Marilyn Manson. The latter also looks to be straddling the headline slot alongside Shinedown.
