Watch: This Guy Climbed a Damn Mountain to Rep Avenged Sevenfold

0

What would you do to show your support for your favorite metal band of all time? Going to a concert seems like the most common answer, but in comparison to what Brazilian filmmaker Pablo Tavares did for Avenged Sevenfold, that’s far too pedestrian. And that’s because he climbed a fucking mountain just to plant an A7X flag at the top.

I won’t go into all the details because it’s all laid out in his mini-documentary posted below, but he says he found out about Avenged Sevenfold the way most teens in the late 90s and early 2000s did — through videogames. The dude quickly became obsessed with the band and eventually when he got older, began following the band all over during the Life Is But A Dream tour.

But his idea to climb a fucking mountain to show his appreciation for the band didn’t come until he realized they were playing Peru for the first time ever this past March at Vivo X El Rock 2025. So naturally, it was time to climb a 19,000 foot tall mountain in the Andes. What follows once he made the decision is an incredible watch, which is great because he tells us that the band eventually got to watch the final product.

So if you want to know more, you’re gonna have to his play on the video below. Oh and go ahead and give the video a like and follow his channel. Dude’s pretty talented with a camera.
