Megadeth Drop Music Video for “Tipping Point”: Watch

0

How apt of a name. Megadeth pretty much are at their tipping point of their career, since their upcoming album is said to be their final one, but we’ll see about that. They’ve already teased out bits of “Tipping Point,” the first single of their supposed final effort, over the last week. Now, they’ve freshly debuted a video for it, so go ahead and watch it below.

Megadeth made the huge announcement that their career is coming to a close over the summer, which includes the new album and their final global tour. When it comes to “Tipping Point,” it’s pretty much classic Megadeth with this hard riffs and frontman Dave Mustaine, well, Dave Mustaining in his fullest fashion (without being a megadick, surprisingly).

Thematically, it touches on what you’d expect for the moment—politics and personality. If you haven’t already, then you will surely see for yourself once you sift through the cacophony of crashing drums and a good chug-a-lug-lug of the beat. Mustaine had this to say of the whole shebang:

“There’s so many musicians that have come to the end of their career, whether accidental or intentional. Most of them don’t get to go out on their own terms on top, and that’s where I’m at in my life right now. I have traveled the world and have made millions upon millions of fans and the hardest part of all of this is saying goodbye to them.”

“Don’t be mad, don’t be sad, be happy for us all, come celebrate with me these next few years.”

I guess the “big four” will now be a “big three.”bMegadeth’s self-titled, farewell LP is set to release January 23 of 2026 via BLKIIBLK.
