Pissing Razors to Play the U.S. East Coast for the First Time Since ’03

For the first time in more than 20 years, Texan groove metal outfit Pissing Razors are heading back to the U.S. East Coast. Spanning seven dates starting later this month, the tour will include supporting efforts from Single Bullet Theory, as well as select dates with Byzantine.

The tour will kick off on October 31 in Richmond, Virginia and comes to a close on November 6 in Buffalo, New York. Speaking of the tour’s significance, Pissing Razors’ vocalist Joe Rodriguez said this string of dates was incredibly important for the band.

“The return to the East Coast after over two decades would mark a significant milestone—not just as a tour to the area with our friends in Single Bullet Theory but a reconnection with the fans in regions we haven’t formally visited in a long time.

“It symbolizes the longevity of the band and our dedication to the groove metal scene, keeping the genre alive in new and legacy markets.

“For long-time fans on the East Coast, it would be a nostalgic and emotional event, potentially the first chance to see the band live in nearly a generation.

“For the band, it’s an opportunity to re-establish our presence, maybe test new songs (like tracks from our 2021 album Eulogy Death March), and grow our audience geography beyond our Texas-heavy touring footprint.”
