Igorrr, Perturbator, Chat Pile, and More Among ArcTanGent Festival’s First Wave of Band Reveals
Our friends out in the U.K. should be pretty damn hyped for the latest news coming from the organizers of this year’s ArcTanGent Festival, as the initial batch of bands announced for next year’s event is pretty damn exciting.
Featuring music acts from all over the world, ArcTanGent is once again tapping into the more extreme side of things, going from noise and sludge metal one moment to dark, cyberpunky electronic music the next. Among the first batch of bands announced include Igorrr, Perturbator, Chat Pile, Alcest, and more.
Set to take place from August 19 to 22 near Bristol, U.K., ArcTanGent an independent music festival that’s typically known for hosting more extreme and experimental metal acts. Over the years, the festival has featured a long list of math rock, post-rock, progressive metal, and avant-garde/experimental metal acts on the bill. Looking at the list of acts announced this morning, they’re continuing that tradition:

Reflecting on his sheer level of excitement, festival organizer James Scarlett said fans have already begun clamoring for tickets even before the band announcement was made public.
“The demand for ArcTanGent 2026 tickets has truly been unprecedented, with over half our tickets sold in the first two weeks of them being on sale. Fans will have to wait a little bit longer before we can announce our headliners, but we’re so excited for the exclusives, reformations and special sets we’ve already cooked up – Early Bird tickets are running low so if you want to lock in for another vintage ArcTanGent, don’t sleep!”
