Lorna Shore Announce North American Tour, Release Video for “In Darkness”

0

In just a few days, deathcore outfit Lorna Shore will be hitting the ol’ dusty European trail when they cross the Atlantic to tour with Whitechapel, Shadow Of Intent, and Humanity’s Last Breath until the end of February. Should be a great run, but luckily the folks back home won’t have to wait too long for a tour of their own, as Lorna Shore announced a North American run that’ll kick off this April.

Set to begin on April 17 in Buffalo, New York, the tour will run until they get back home on May 22 for a show in Montclair, New Jersey. Along the way, they’ll play shows in Omaha, Nebraska; Green Bay, Wisconsin; Memphis, Tennessee, and a whole host of other locales. Our friends in Canada will also hots a few shows in Edmonton, Calgary, and Winnepeg, so it’s your turn to make the trip to a show, Toronto and Montreal folks. Providing support for the tour will be Paleface Swiss and Signs Of The Swarm.

Tickets are currently available through special presales today, though they’ll ultimately be made available to the general public this Friday, January 23. You can find the full list of tour dates below.

In addition to today’s tour announcement, the band released their music video for “In Darkness,” the latest single off their most recent album I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me. Directed by David Brodsky for My Good Eye, the video follows the song’s concept, as described by frontman Will Ramos:

“’In Darkness’ is about growing up feeling distant from everyone, a song about anxiety and being an outcast (as many of us metal fans grow from). It’s a song about embracing that outlandish and ostracized feeling. Knowing that we have grown in the shadows, the darkness of the world, but accepting that through that darkness we have become.”

I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me is available wherever you get your music these days via Century Media Records.
