NINE NEW GUNS N’ ROSES CHINESE DEMOCRACY LEAKS!!!

Yes, you read that correctly. MetalSucks reader Eventash sent us this link to AntiQuiet, who are hosting 9 mixed, mastered, NEW versions of songs from Guns N’ Roses’ long-awaited Chinese Democracy. This is not a joke, and these are not the versions that leaked last year. GO listen now before the Internet piracy-goblins snatch them down. GO GO GO!
Lots of these are newer versions of songs GN’R nuts like us have been hearing demos of for years. There are also three new songs; we know that #1 is called “Rhiad and Bedouins” from hearing Axl play it live, and #2 is strongly rumored to be titled “If the World,” which is a song title that has been bouncing around for awhile. G ‘N’ R is really Axl and his (fourth?) cover band. Imagine if David Lee Roth had called his solo band Van Halen. (Don’t bring up Mustaine, either, because he IS the writing force behind Megadeth).
Are people really excited for what they believe is Guns or for hearing Axl sing again? I don’t get the infatuation.
Hell, even as Guns ‘N’ Roses, they only wrote about 3 decent songs after Appetite anyway. Talk about blowing your wad early.
Can you describe them? Are they even any good? Is it worth the hard drive space?
I LOVE(ed) GnR, but it’s what now, a fifth of the original band? That’s not Guns N’ Roses, that’s just Gu.

What happens now???? Well, we get to hear about these leaks and hear 3 more versions of them over the next couple of years and hear about how the album is almost done while he re structures the band lineup yet again….and damn, how will the writing credits and royalty payments be set up, how many dozens of guys have been involved with the writing and recording of this album? Is he re recording everytime the band changes lineup or what? This album seems like it would be a legal paperwork nightmare.

IMO these tracks above could be finished versions. Top songs, Slash will shit his pants! Dude is finally realizing he could have played on all these fucking tracks.

New songs didn’t impress me that much. They sound like good produced demos. New Song #2 may be ‘heart gets killed’. still, both could use a lot of production on the loops and effects.
blues and twat are amazing songs, that’s no news to a gnr fan. but still, a lot of work could be done vocally and musically.

I remember first hearing about Chinese Democracy back when I was a senior in high school, which was in 2000…

soulseek. go download soulseek, people. i guaran-fucking-tee that the new GNR leaks, as well as anything else you might be looking for is on there.
These are great sounding demos but nothing more, which to me proves the promise the album holds.
Rhiad is awesome but sounds very 2002-era.
There Was A Time/Madagascar/The Blues can go on album. That’s fine with me. Axl sounds great.
But yeah, these aren’t final versions. Just good demos.
Hopefully we’ll hear from GNR soon about the album.
